Sound Designer //

Adapted from Euripides' Ancient Tragedy, The Trojan Women focuses on women in a quarantine facility following the outbreak of a malicious illness. My role as sound designer was to source and create a soundscape to fit the play to create a vibrant and harrowing atmosphere. I also had the opportunity to work with the chorus ensemble to create a short piece of music that would be sung during the The Trojan Women.

The Glass System was an original work appearing at the SPRUNG Festival of 2016. The play follows 5 academics who are in charge of Australia's nuclear capabilities. Intercepted in this story line are short self-contained sketches which focus on individuals who bare their true selves but unfortunately receive no reward in the end. Two astronauts in outer space provide comic relief as they watch earth as it eventually explodes due to the academics irrational decisions. As the director for this performance, I was responsible for the creative decisions in the performance and directing actors to create the best performance possible.

The video embedded is an 11 minute edited version of The Glass System during it's first run on Wednesday, October 28.
